Ingredients
  1. 1 lb strawberries
  2. 3/4 lb sugar
Instructions
  1. Wash, drain, and pick berries and place in pan in alternate layers with the sugar. Let stand an hour to draw out juice, and bring slowly to boiling point; then boil for 20 minutes -- skimming thoroughly. Remove from fire and let stand over night. Next morning fill sterilized jars, cover with melted paraffin, and seal.
