  1. Small green grapes
  2. 1 lb cooking apples to each 4 lbs grapes
  3. 3/4 lb sugar to each pound fruit
  4. 1 gill water to each l lb of grapes
  1. Take the stalks from the grapes. Peel, core and slice the apples. Put the sugar and water in a pan and boil gently, stirring until the sugar has dissolved into a syrup. Add the grapes and apples and boil until the syrup jellies when tested. Pour into warm jars and cover at once.
