Ingredients
  1. Apple Juice
  2. Sugar
  3. Dried Figs
Instructions
  1. Wash, cut up and weight figs, allow to each l lb, one pint water, 3 lbs sugar and 3 pints of apple juice. Boil figs slowly in the water for 1 1/2 hours, then add the apple juice and sugar. Stir till the sugar has dissolved, and continue to boil till the syrup jellies when tested.
