Ingredients
  1. 6 ripe apples
  2. 10 ripe tomatoes
  3. 6 onions
  4. 6 sticks celery
  5. 1 lb raisins
  6. 2 tb mixed spice
  7. 1 tb mustard
  8. 2 teaspoons pepper
  9. 1/2 lb brown sugar
  10. 3 pints brown vinegar
  11. 2 tbs salt
Instructions
  1. Tie spices in small bags. Peel and core apples, scald and peel tomatoes; chop fine first four ingredients; add the rest and boil 1 hour or until thick. Pour into hot, sterilised jars and seal.
