  2. 1 pint apple juice to 1 pound sliced fruit
  3. 2 lbs sugar
  4. Lemon juice
  1. Peel bananas, slice and weigh. Put apple juice and sugar in above-mentioned proportions into a pan, add juice of 1 lemon and bring to the boil. Stir until the sugar has dissolved, then add the bananas, stir till boils, then cook gently till the mixture becomes thick. Skin frequently.
  2. Either can your usual way or refrigerate.
